Our Firm, represented by Vasilis Ikonomidis, Despina Valtzi and Elpida Kazantzidou, attended the Conference of ESG SHIPPING AWARDS 2024 International at Ble Pavillion on Friday, the 18th of October.
It was a really inspiring event, as we had the chance to network and discuss with other peers while learning about the most recent worldwide ESG breakthroughs in the maritime world. In addition to benchmarking against industry leaders and gaining important insights into international ESG best practices, we had the opportunity to listen to motivational speeches from informative panels.
The Conference of the ESG Shipping Awards 2024 International is the sequel to the awards, where companies presented their winning actions, explaining the impact on operations and the challenges and opportunities faced during implementation.
During and prior to the awards, VDI Law Firm played a crucial role in establishing the rules for jury selection, nomination processes, and eligibility requirements for the legal documents used in the event. We also provided on-site legal support to ensure compliance with the organization’s terms and conditions.
