We are glad to have successfully represented a Greek SA, lessee of a real estate property under a leasing contract, in the transfer to a third party of the options right to buy the leased property.

The options right was assigned by the lessee to a third SA company, without the initial consent of the lessor (leasing company).

The leasing company, though, after thorough and extensive discussions, accepted our legal approach and finally agreed to sign the final sale-purchase contract for the transfer of the property to the third company.

This was a very demanding and innovative case since assigning the options right to a third party without the explicit consent of the lessor was a groundbreaking initiative.

And after more than 6 months of continuous involvement, we are more than happy that the transfer of the property has been successfully completed!
